Medical Questions
Can I use the Theradome along with other hair loss treatments?
Yes, in fact the professionals at
Freedom Hair Systems recommend using a combination of treatments in order to increase and speed up the results of your hair loss treatments. Try combining minoxidil, a hair loss vitamin supplement, a medicated or hair loss shampoo, and deep pore scalp cleanser. See our HairMax and Activ8 brands for these products. The drug Finasteride can also be used for men, however you need to see your doctor as a prescription is required for this treatment.
Does Laser Therapy help a hair transplant?
Yes. Low Level Laser Therapy has been shown to be very effective after a hair transplant. The healing benefits of LLLT have long been documented. After a hair transplant, laser therapy speeds up healing, helps to to reduce post operative hair fallout, and increases the speed and quality of the re-growing hair. It will also help maintain the original hair that is still susceptible to miniaturization.
Will this help with my other scalp conditions?
Some patients have reported positive results using the Theradome™ asit helps reduce inflammation of the scalp - the root cause of
Dermatitis and itching.
When should I start using Theradome?
It is never too early to use the Theradome™ laser helmet. In fact the earlier you start, the sooner you will be halting your hair loss and preventing thinning of the hair shafts.
What is the difference between Laser and LED for hair growth?
LED lights have no clinical effect on hair loss or regrowth. This type of light has been shown to be effective in other skin treatments, but not hair loss.
I am 22 and my mother and/or dad are bald, can I prevent hair loss?
Yes, it is much easier to prevent hair loss than it is to re-activate
the dormant hair follicles. By using our Theradome™, you will help slow down the miniaturization of the follicles that shows up as hair loss. As a result, the
follicles will continue to receive nutrients from the blood supply cell metabolism and
the hair will continue to grow.

The Theradome™ comes with a rechargeable battery which can be charged
via the charge cradle. We recommend leaving the laser helmet on the
charging cradle when not in use.

You can use the theradome any time. However we do recommend that your scalp is clean, dry and free of any products.

Will the lasers reach my scalp if I have a somewhat full head of hair?
Our Theradome™ has 80 lasers and has a build-in hair parting mechanism

but the counter will count the total number of treatments for everyone
